So, we hate Chris Carson now because he's an ungodly physical runner &, because of that, is now hurt & can't play?

We also hate Shaun Alexander because he didn't make contact with all 11 defenders on the field every play while putting up ungodly numbers & playing every game for 6 straight years?

This f***ing place has a real expectations versus reality problem.

Don't forget about Penny. We hate him because he was drafted in the first round, which was completely out of his control, and because he has been injured a lot, which is also completely out of his control.

Hate the players who arent on the field every game. Forget the fact he had two 1000 yard seasons. Runs hard. Balls on display. God forbid he get a neck injury. We should run back out there so he can cut his career short like bam bam.

Bunch of bullshit man. We will be fine with collins and penny. Both of them can produce. Ecspecially with russ back.

And a contract extension ? Carroll always bets on the 'possibility' of brilliant future play based on his infuriating habit of believing the " glass is always half full " even when the glass is cracked and leaking . Unrealistic optimism is counter productive . IMO

This. Guy is a walking injury but if you call it like it is, you get crucified.

Maybe some fans just have legitimate empathy for a man who's played his heart out every time he's been on the field for the Seahawks — lowering his helmet into those of defenders, keeping his legs churning despite guys diving at his knees and ankles, stiff-arming and heedlessly hurdling — and has clearly paid the price with his health. That reckless, devil-may-care style we've all cheered for is the very reason he's become a "walking injury" who "can't stay a full season."

I hated the extension in the first place..He was injured a lot and this injury he has
is likely the end.
PC seems to have some soft spot over keeping players who bodies can't handle
the sport,yes injuries happen but some players a lot more than most and we see
this all the time in Seattle.

Carson is one of the most overrated players around here. Some people wanna worship him because he "runs hard". Does is really matter if hes not on the field. Should of never signed him and let him be someone elses problem and used that money on an oline or a cb.
