This is a difficult situation they just can not seem to stay healthy its been this way all year... injury's are decimating this team this year.. Mike Solari has his work cut out for him for sure.

The hits to the running game have been brutal this year. There have also been some genuine performance disappointments as well. Most recently, Solari had to have been unhappy with the right side of his line verses Arizona. He had a veteran right guard and veteran tackle who couldn't reliably hand off stunts to each other. They started off the game that way. And they finished the game that way. Glaring weakness to be addressed before the Washington game.

The entire offense has a lot of adversity to confront. They are now well behind schedule in need of accelerating their progress toward turning the corner for a respectable season finish.

This upcoming game should be instructive.

The really need to get to the bottom of all the injuries, that's just not the Seahawks that is league wide, if you look at how many players are out and getting hurt across the league it's a problem. Whether it's the lack of contact and being able to keep things hardened as in contact shape versus athletic shape or a factor of Thursday. Saturday, Sunday, Monday games and not enough rest for teams as they cycle thru them.

For us we seem to have Lineman and Rb's hurt a lot as well as our CB's and Safeties. That is year to year not isolated to a freak rash of injuries.

For those interested, Phil Hayes was described as a match for gap/power schemes. Heavy handed with strong grip. Powerful leg drive. Very much like the two starting guards we have seen for much of 2021.

Nigel Warrior is a former college safety. Signed to the practice squad because of his valued versatility. Credited with having a great motor and physical play.

More jacks of all trades masters of none, this is part of the reason we have issues, good football players not great position players.

I understand your thinking. But with extended rosters, match up role players for specific packages are attractive and do contribute. Nickle and dime packages along with special teams thrive because of them.

I definitely not going to disagree with what your saying... but I am going to add that both the cards and the packers have 2 of the best D fronts in the game and it was a real hardship that the hawks had to play those teams back to back when they are trying to work out of a jam...that's stiff competition but Pete Carroll wouldn't have it any other way... personally... I would LOL
