I would agree as a backup but only because geno just got DUI so he is gone, not sure he is better, Winston is a TO machine.

That's why I said backup. He wasn't doing too bad with the Saints before he got hurt. He also threw for 33 tds and 5000+ yards in a season. I'm not a fan of Winston but he's definitely an upgrade over Smith.

OMG you have a problem. Even the tiniest suspicion of a slight towards Russ is a f-ing bat call for you. I'm the guy who cares so much about football that I wrote a sixth-grade "who's your hero?" report on how amazing the QB of my favorite team was when everyone else wrote about their parents, and even I think this is too much. The only reason I don't that I don't think you actually are Russ is that I would hope a college graduate would have better grammar than my six-year-old daughter.

Not QB rating wise. Smith has a career QB rating of 75.7, while Winston is 87.8. Both aren't good but Winston is still better.
