Sherman's not a rookie this season. Last season was his rookie campaign.

Now Bobby Wagner on the other hand...

This can't be because of the PED issue is it? Innocent until proven guilty right? Seriously that's dumb, Sherm deserved it this week and it's not even close!

Isn't this the defensive player of the week?

You do not have to be a rookie to win defensive player of the week.

Shouldn't matter who it is against, Sherm and Beast should have both won. Once again these awards prove meaningless.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how 16 tackles is more valuable than 2 INT's, a fumble recover, and a defensive TD.

Anyways, this just adds another chip on Sherm's shoulder so this might actually be a good thing in the long run.

To be fair Sherm was basically playing against a high school level QB this game. I'm pretty sure I would have had at least 1 INT in this game.

I would imagine that at least some of the people who decide this award are holding the looming suspension for PEDs against Sherm when they voted

I'm pretty sure you would NOT have had an INT in that game, but cool story bro. :thirishdrinkers:

This is crap, Sherm should have won DPOW ...and Lynch, he would have set NFL records had we not been dominating by so much. Stupid fans...they're all a bunch of morons!!! (present company excluded)
