Here’s my current Week 12 order for MVP...

1) Patrick Mahomes
2) Russell Wilson
3) Aaron Rodgers
4) Derrick Henry

What say you?

Mahomes is the best player in the NFL.

Haven't thought much about it after Russ's mid-season slump, but with a strong finish I guess he could still be in the running. He should at least get a couple of votes for cryin' out loud.

Here's to hoping Russ just get the MVP of the SuperbOwl :irishdrinkers:
Mahomes is the best in the league, and that's fine. Russ is the 2nd best QB in football, yes he is better than Lord Rodgers.

I don't know about that. Mahomes feels like a justifiably unanimous decision.

There’s a chance Henry might win MVP, but how can you put Russ 2nd with less TD”s and more INT Than Rodgers??

MVP races are always about media narrative. Depending on how the team looks going down the stretch will determine if he wins. If they stumble and end up 11-5 then he will not get it, if they go undefeated and end up 13-3 I have a feeling he will win.

Dak should win it. The Cowboys completely fell apart without him

Wilson had such a big lead...

Rodgers has no issue padding his stats. I bet you deep down Aaron Jones must hate not getting the ball near the goal line .

Mahomes seems like Chiefs want him to break every record.

Wish Seahawks who could have done that more for Wilson's career. Not sure if Wilson can keep up but could possibly get some massive games next couple weeks.

Well in reality Rodgers has played one more game than Wilson :p

Secondly, I know it's not how pundits work, but the very nature of the term MVP in my mind has nothing to do with TDs to INT ratio for a QB, but.. again not my call.

If I had to rank them on likelihood of getting the award this year, I would go this way

1 - Mahomes 10-1
2 - Rodgers 8-3
3 - Roethlisberger 10-0
4 - Wilson 8-3

I hope Russell is never in the MVP conversation again, unless it comes late in the season. For me personally, it brings in too much risk of him getting out of what I think makes him as good as he is. Humble confidence is what I think makes him great. The same reason I hate the MVP talk is the same reason I cringed at the "let Russ cook" crap. It kind of felt like it was all leading him or forcing him into being something he isn't from a personality stand point. I don't mind the more aggressive offense or any of that part of it, but the constant media narrative had me concerned. This could just be my own personal paranoia about not wanting Russ to turn into a selfish stat mongering diva QB.
