Paying RB's is a one way ticket to cap hell. None are so much more valuable to be worth that money anymore.

He's done better than I figured in the NFL but he takes a beating,I
don't see that body holding up to the contract and really after 4 yrs
a RB's prime is over.
So no I would not pay out that and I would trade him for picks because
I can build up through the draft(s) and have a healthy cap with a lot more
options.
But good for the little guy he's got his bank.

Best all purpose back in the league by far. But with RB's the shelf life is short. That being said, the Mc Caffery's can take a beating as demonstrated by his father Ed.

McCaffrey's contribution/ability in the passing game, and young age make him worth it.

He is the exception to the rule.
