The Washington Redtails

The Washington Warriors - This will be a problem since there is a team name already associated with it in the NBA.

Most the others are represented by former slave owners or are political, Kings we have a Hockey team, Capitols a Hockey team. I think Liars would work personally.

I could see Trump getting involved and wanting Generals, he owned that team in New York. It would be ironic really since he fired a few recently.

Washington Hogs. It actually pays tribute to the franchise's history.

It's a shame that the Nationals is taken for a baseball team.

I actually like that idea. You get the tribe to sign off on it, maybe have someone in the tribe help with a redesign of the logo, keep the colors and boom. New look, but can keep the Native American motif. The only thing is I'm sure the tribe would want a cut of the merchandise profits and Dan Snyder and the team probably wouldn't want that.

If they go with Redtails I submit that the trousers should be grey with gluteus maximus area being red.

I'm so glad Dan Snyder is changing this name. What a great guy. We should be very thankful for this.

Of the ones I've heard I like Redtails (Squadron, not the Hawk) and Redwolves the best.

Not a fan of Warriors. I'm a GS Warriors fan, so its not the name itself. Its that I really think they need to move away from ANY Native American imagery and I'm pretty sure they'll use a spearhead as the helmet symbol, like below. Its not that Native American imagery is problematic by itself (the Seminoles actually pay the tribe to use the name), but after all these years its probably smartest to move away completely.

Or they could go this way and drop the feathers.
