The NFL announced today that this season’s Pro Bowl, which had been scheduled for January 31, 2021, will not be played.

The league isn’t officially calling it a cancelation but a “reimagining” of the Pro Bowl. Pro Bowl rosters will still be voted upon by fans, players and coaches, and virtual activities will recognize the game’s biggest stars. But whatever word you want to use for it, the Pro Bowl will not be played.

The NFL also announced that the 2022 Pro Bowl will be played in Las Vegas.

Week 18 baby. They're making plans for it in case more teams get the virus.

Flexibility is king and if it saves our season, all for it.

Yeah, they're looking at what happens if more games get shuffled around and the season gets extended to cover them.

Likely the playoffs might be delayed and that weekend ends up being not available.

Like was said above, it's not a huge fan event and since they don't play it in Hawaii every year now even the players don't get overly excited about going.

The players canceled it about a decade ago.

They did if not longer..If you don't care then the fans won't.
Bury that game forever.

They should nix the game and go with expanded skills competitions with cash payouts. Less risk for the players and you know they will be more competitive.

"This morning, we were informed that several individuals within our organization have tested positive for COVID-19," a statement from the Colts read. "The team is currently in the process of confirming those tests. In the meantime, the practice facility will be closed and the team will work remotely while following NFL protocols. We are in communication with the NFL and will have more information when available."

They're scheduled to play Bengals at 10 a.m. Sunday so if the positives are true that's yet another game to be added to the shuffle mix.

League needed a week 18 way more than they need the Pro Bowl, if in fact they ever did.
