Bevell taking a beating in Detroit

Not to kick a man while he's down but I would say Bevell is all but gone from the Lions by years end. His offense is terrible and he's been called out for it by fans and media. Not sure how he got another coaching gig after his debacle with the Hawks actually.

Hanging out a a team that won a Super Bowl will get coaches all sorts of jobs.

I feel like every since Barry Sanders retired the Lions have been the worst rushing team every year. Must be some kind of curse or something.

DB will be out of an NFL a job once the bearded dwarf gets fired in Detroit.

The Lions are painful to watch. They have been cursed since the Fords bought the franchise. We all call it the Ford Curse out here. They fire a successful coach(Caldwell) and end up with this? Oh, and DB? I told all my Lions fans friends that they will hate him real soon. Guess what? They do. :laugh:

I worked in Detroit. Easily the hardest hard-core sports town I've ever been in, tons of parties and after work gatherings at sports bars. Red Wings. Pistons. Tigers.

During all my years there all those decades ago, not one word was said about the Lions. They might as well rename them the Ford Edsels or the Ford Pintos.

Aaaaaaand now he's the head coach of the Lions. For now.
