  • 16 seasons with the Chargers. 6 of those he made it to the playoffs. Always wondered what he could have accomplished in a different franchise.

  • Dan Fouts and Phillip Rivers, two names for one Franchise that will represent futility of getting a Lombardi , wasted opportunities for a Franchise that many other teams wish had either one play for them.

    Some of those Chargers teams were pretty stacked. If he didn't win with them he wasn't going to win. LT, Vincent Jackson,Antonio Gates, Weddle, Merriman , Antonio Cromartie , Kris Dielman, Shaun Phillips. I think it was more about being in the same conference as Manning and Brady
