  • Resist the temptation, Seahawks! No more tight ends who’s best years are behind them!

  • Theoretically, we don't have enough capital to even be tempted. :229031_shrug:

  • Do it, if he comes cheap. People seem to think the team is overflowing with tight ends. It isn't. A nice, 6'6" proven endzone target who probably wants to chase a ring, coming to an offense with a coordinator who makes tight ends look good?

Again. If it's on the cheap, which it should be... do it.

  • Already a thread about this in the NFL forum. And yes, it would be a VERY Seahawks-like signing.

  • Outside of Olsen have we signed washed up TE's? Everyone is acting like it's a yearly occurrence or something.

I would be fine with Rudolph on the cheap and actually thought Olsen while overpaid was i nice safety blanket for Russell on 3rd downs last year.

  • I guess Dickson if you were throwing him in there but he was fairly cheap signing.

  • I think that people are factoring in the Jimmy Graham signing too. No, he wasn’t washed up when we signed him nor was he a “bust.” Still, his time here felt a little disappointing overall.

  • He can block, so, we won't technically be blowing smoke up his rear-end the way we did with Jimmy.
