Honestly, if they can get him cheap, they need to pounce. This is the type of signing that can really set a passing offense off.

That's the real rub, we are not a passing offense, and for sake of argument I will say we are a ball control offense that passes long for impact plays or when it is third and 15.

40 td passes and two 1000 yard WR’s sure seems like a passing offense.

I'd say that's how the team used to operate, but is far from describing the most recent Seahawks team. One of the pass-happiest in the NFL.
