Damn right ...Their starting center is also leaving as a FA
The cap hell has started in KC just like it did in Seattle.
You cannot pay mega dollars to a QB,big money to a DE
and a TE..The OL suffers.
Their SB run is over and we will see just how good Pat
really is..Ha Ha love it.

Hit the nail on the head. Dumb. I don't care how good Mahomes is, his contract should be a cautionary tale for GMs going forward.

Is there any other team in the AFC that will give the chiefs a hard time?

Buffalo, Tennessee, Browns, Ravens, Colts are all gonna be tough next year.

Buffalo can't score on KC
Tenn? They have no D.
Browns. They couldn't even beat his backup QB.
Ravens? Are you joking? They are daring Lamar to throw the ball.
Colts? See how good Wentz plays first.

KC can easily draft their OL with their draft picks.

Their LT, is a vet played for 8 years and torn Achilles, it was an obvious move to cut and release him. Just like how Seattle did with Sherman. Same with their RT, it saved up some cap space.

Patrick Mahomes even restructured his contract, giving the chiefs more cap space. When was the last time Wilson restructure his contract to help his team?

Yes they can draft OL but it's not easy as we see..They might
not be good or will take a couple years to be decent.
PM's sure isn't RW when it comes to health..I give Russ that.

Really wish some posters would get it.

Just because you draft someone does not mean they can step in a play day one, if ever. College and NFL are night and day.

Why the success rate of players is so low, other wise you would have like 250 new starters every year.

The real cap hell starts in 2022 for them when they can't game Mahomes rookie contract (which he's technically playing on the option year in 2021 so that's how they moved money to clear cap space, but it starts coming hard next year), and the four other big contracts kick them in the pants. I think they have something like $140 million cap costs across five dudes next year.

LOL!

Here are their picks in the first 3 rounds,

Round 1, Pick 31.
Round 2, Pick 63.
Round 3, Pick 95.

They have the 2nd to last pick in each round and they need a starting LT, a starting RT, and a starting C, all in one draft, and they're going to need these guys to be ready start day 1.

They would have to have the most miraculous draft in the history of the NFL to pull that off and end up with an OL that is even mediocre.
