For reference, he has run a marathon in 2:16 and still holds the Seattle Marathon course of 2:25.
Also won masters (40 years or older) at 2:21 and I think was top 20 overall at Boston.

He hit summit at 3:09 and then was back at Paradise by 4:24? I bet that was interesting, seeing somebody run at a marathon type pace down a mountain.

Fun fact: setting a record running up and down Mt. Rainier was good for 1653 calories burned, or less than the number of calories gained by eating a KFC big box meal or a Subway meatball footlong with cheese.

12 hours is my best... and i was pretty fit at the time.

Not counting the 8 hour at camp Schurman

that record is incredible
