Actually, was never a round ball fan. I was out of state during the Sonics heyday, though my mom used to love to listen to the games on the radio.

Just heard the news on the Mariners post game show and found the Times link. I know a lot of y'all loved the Sonics, too. ;)

The thing you all need to remember is that while the Basketball Hall of Fame recognizes NBA accomplishments in their selections, it is independent of the league, and is a catch-all HoF for every level of the sport, unlike football and baseball, whose HoFs are run by the pro leagues.
