    Great article by Geoff Baker and that Spanish flu caused cancellation of the Stanly Cup finals in 1919. I know folks have talked about it here and this gives a sobering look at how bad the Spanisg flu was then.

    I didn't know the detail of the 1919 story. I had thought Seattle won a shortened season in 19, didn't know they won it in 17.
