He wasn't a great Coach for us really, we had him as a player past his Prime, but in Phoenix he was a game changer, RIP Paul, you were an ICON in your day.

I remember him coming in to coach the Sonics. Was kind of like Flores coming in to coach the Seahawks, but not as bad. Both needed to be endured while they were here until something better came along.

When he came to play for the Sonics I remember he had a cocaine issue and yes
that led to him being past his prime early.
He did overcome that though and I thought he was a pretty good coach with the Suns
in the 90's..Funny he played for and coached both teams.
I liked him.RIP
