Just read that in the year that #44 Hank Aaron passed the Braves won 44 games before the break and 44 games after the break….and then won the WS in the 44 week of the season. Truly mind boggling occurrence.

Not a big braves fan but was rootin’ against the asterisks.
Big Hank Aaron fan though. He was one of baseball’s all time great ambassadors and great players.
