  • Coincidentally, Alexei Leonov (the first person to space walk) died in Moscow on October 11, aged 85. He later commanded Soyuz 19 in 1975, which docked with a US spacecraft for the first time.

    Anyway, good to see more women in space. Apparently they are physiologically better equipped for zero grav, in some ways(?)

    Actually, I think the biggest thing is that women are smaller and lighter on average. They're cheaper to launch. ;)
