  • Assuming "American" isn't what you're looking for, then Mexican is #1, followed by Italian, then Chinese.

  • I'm Italian, so it's my #1.........and I took cooking classes in Italy in 2013 so I can make all sorts of homemade from scratch Italian dishes. There's nothing like fresh pasta, so damn good.

But overall I love just about all ethnic foods. We're pretty lucky in the NW, we've got some great ethnic food choices.

  • All food matters.

Gun to my head, Vietnamese or authentic Italian (Lazio region, Latina province particularly), followed closely by Thai and middle eastern halal foods. Peruvian, Cambodian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, oh hell I just love it all. Not much better than a good burger either. Sushi. Pretty much all seafood.

  • I can't believe I didn't list Seafood as my Numero Uno. I've since edited my post...

Shellfish, especially crab, lobster, prawns...YUM. Give me a tasty ribeye, king crab/lobster, some broccoli to make me feel a little better about myself (isn't that why people order Diet drinks with their burger and fries?), and a nice bold cab and I am in heaven.

Great to see you list Italian by region.
It’s very true that many ethnic foods vary drastically by region.
    Mexican is another good example.

Our American perspective of these foods can be a general mix, and not a true example.

Hell, even our own American food varies by region even though little of our food is actually American, most is a variation of something from someplace else.

I love Crab,Lobster,Shrimp, and most fish. Will eat any of it cooked just about any way.

I also like red meats and cheeses.
Italian and Mexican works great for me if we’re talking in general terms.

Not gunna lie, I enjoy some simple home cooking too.

Give me a good Pot Roast w/carrots, potatoes, or a Chicken fried steak with mashed and I’m in heaven.

I will even buy some nice tenderloins slice in half and beat them flat to Chicken Fry.
That’s some crazy good eatin’ right there.
