  • Just spent the last two days watching all three seasons of Ozark. All alone, no distractions, grub hub, etc. Great series, the best way to just veg and unwind after a stressful time. It's on Netflix if you get a chance.

    Praying for a season 4:

  • I thought it was fairly good, but it really requires suspension of disbelief on a semi-regular basis. In the real world, the cartel would have killed them like six times already, lol.

You have to convince yourself that what they were accomplishing was more important than their constant foibles but yeah, I get it. I basically had to ignore that but there was a couple of times I was like "no way that's gonna happen." A good example is when the heroin lady shot the d*ck off the mobster's son and then shows up at his place to have a show down and make a deal with him. She would have been killed the instant she drove up.

  • Good show.

Although I really don't understand the money jargon. "Let's build a church so we can write off the money with construction costs."....what? Maybe that makes sense to people who are experts with that, but they should explain how it works to the audience.

I get laundering money by hiring people to spend it at a casino. But not some of the other stuff.

  • I we need technical perfection we’ll never enjoy filmed entertainment (movies/TV)

I enjoyed Ozark, binge watched over a few shifts at work, now rewatching a little slower at home with the wife.

Although very different Ozark reminds me a lot of BreakingBad.

  • One of our favorite Netflix series. Yeah, yeah, you have to suspend belief at times but isn't that the case for any TV show? Bateman has got to be one of my all-time favorites. I will watch anything he is in and Julie Garner as Ruth is simply Oscar-worthy, especially when you see/hear her out of character giving an interview.

  • Exactly, watch it and enjoy it. Is it far fetched often? Sure. So what, it's just a tv show. And a damn good one.
