  • I read that there have been some outages. We're getting some momentary flashes here in Kent.

  • Like most, I'm telecommuting. Our power went out twice, cable 4 times. Fortunately, it was very brief. Sammamish always seems to get the crazy power outages and/or flickering lights. Looked a war zone outside with all the downed branches etc.

  • Oh man, sorry it's the PNW too.

    The Bay is scheduled for rolling outages over the next few days for fire danger. They really have pulled the plug more since the Camp Fire of 2018.

    Typically this doesn't affect me. If it affects anyone on flatland that's typically Marin/Sonoma/Napa and then the more the mountainous/exurban and rural areas of other counties.

    Here it was the wind. Had some rather high gusts the other day that downed some lines. Wasn't a huge problem, but several thousand customers experienced outages.
