Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence. It's just a matter of how many months/years you get, and usually 2 years from diagnosis is the most you get. I hate hearing when someone is diagnosed because it's inherently rare for someone to survive more than 24 months. Alex was a good, decent man with integrity. He's in the light now, returned to Home, where love and peace aren't just words in a Hallmark card but very palpable forces.
