    Do it. His writing is excellent, and is a lot more cerebral than most.

  • I finished up A Legacy Of Spies by him not too long ago, and I am sad to hear about his passing. Le Carre is simply one of the best. Excellent, well thought out novels during the Cold War era. The only other espionage novelist that comes close is Len Deighton. Anyone who has not read the series of either of these two great writers is missing out.

    Check out Le Carre's George Smiley series of books, and then Len Deighton's Harry Palmer, and Bernard Sampson series of books. They are outstanding!
