    Since they aren't bonuses, and don't increase the top-51 contracts, they wouldn't impact the cap until after final cutdowns when all contracts count.

    Offsets just mean the team that guarantees a contract gets credit back if that player is cut and signs with another team (or even the same team for that matter). It's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum salary in Pittsburgh.
