I personally would leave it as is but then again I don't know how much work you have to do behind the scenes weeding out spam/trolling. I have been a member for quite awhile and only post occasionally but really enjoy the forum. Limiting a new member from starting a post about something they are...
I would actually rather just roll with Parkinson myself and then sign a less expensive FA or draft another TE. Not sure about his blocking but a 6'7" target that can run at catch isn't easy to find. I am not sure how much he would cost to resign though.
So my son, brother and I were talking last night about whether it would be better to cut Geno and sign Russell to the league min after the Broncos cut him or stick with Geno. If it is a possibility, Russ under a min contract would be way better than Geno at his current #. Plus I would be able to...
Biggest thing I find myself thinking about is how the roster will be constructed with this hire. I have to believe that we will try to run the ball and play ball control offense which should be great for us considering we have KW3 and Charbonnet. As much as I love Lockettt I have to think he is...
I gotta think that if they wanted any of the available options they would have hired them by now which makes me think that Macdonald is their #1 target. That leaves a big hole at OC. Maybe using this time to interview possible options. With Macdonald being such a young coach he prob doesn't have...
I haven't ever really paid much attention to the head coaching search in past years for obvious reasons but it seems kinda broken. If you are a team holding out for a coach from one of the remaining playoff teams you could really get screwed if they guy you are targeting stays put or picks...
Good point on the ILB that I was just thinking about. Wagner and Brooks may be tackle machines but neither one of them can cover and I don't think they have the sideline to sideline speed that is necessary. Wagner may have had it at one point but Brooks just doesn't seem to have that burst...
Compare our offensive weapons to the ones the Lions have. We have DK, Lockett and JSN to their ASB and I guess Jameson Wiliams and Reynolds or Raymond, big advantage Hawks. Walker and Charbonett vs Gibbs and Montgomery...slight edge to Lions. Goff and Geno are basically the same player. They...
I think that while it is still possible to win a Championship with a team based around defense but it is definitely more difficult than it was in the past. It seems like every year there is a new rule that continues to shift the advantage to the offensive side of the football. Defenders have to...
I think he will be fine and flashed a bit this year. I agree with the above posters about the lack of running lanes being the main issue. He and Walker are such different backs with Walker having that elusiveness and burst and Charbonnet being more of a bruiser. Just think of how many times...
Hawks were top ten in QB pressure rate and sacks last year so not sure what you are smoking. Our run defense is what killed us...the problem is that I don't know that we have solved that with our current roster. I am sure that we will be better and maybe that will be enough if our pass defense...
Hawks were top 10 in sacks and pressure time last year. It was the run defense that killed us. If we have an improved secondary then more of those pressures should turn in to sacks. Especially if Adams is healthy and blitzing.
Hawks will be tough to stop on offense this year if Geno doesn't shit the bed. 3 stud WR and we got a #2 RB that can ball out. I personally thing Parkinson is going to break out this year. Was pretty excited when we drafted him and then he got hurt. You can only cover so many guys before you get...
