It seems to me that the onside kick has to main tactics:
1. some kind of low bouncing / hard kick straight at the front line. Upside is that it is hard to catch, but downside is that it is also hard to consistently perfect, since randomness is like the point of it. Meaning it is very hard to...
Hahaha Wow what a drunken sleepdeprived mess of an OP i made xD Apologies!
I guess the main point in that rambling is that the jump ball made more sense when they could run a head start, and that they should focus on perfecting the ground bounce kick.
Is it legal to put the ball on its side...
Like seriously, the point of "needing to recover an onside kick" is generally the threshold for defeat in a football game, meaning that it is "game over" once you need it.
But HOW can they be so bad at it? It is not like the ball is dead when it hits the ground like a hail mary, someone needs...
I love stephen A, shannon sharpe, skip ad the other crazy guys :D So refreshing with funny americans arguing about sports, compared to boring swedes arguing about something lame :D
As much as his pocket precense looked questionable early season, it has looked amaaazing lately. Like he extends several plays as long as he did in the good ole day, but by manouvering the pocket instead of running in half circles backwards. So nice to see!
I remember Irvin as the perfect "keep Kaepernick in check" player. Kaep would run all over every other team but just kind of hurt us a little since Irvin had that great combo of speed and size to contain him
I agree! Every player who does not tuck his shirt should get fined by the league for uniform violation, and told by the referee to tuck it in. if that dosent work maybe a 5yd penalty for repeated offences!!! :@ Looks really sloppy, like a practise or scrimmage..
Yeah i noticed in Last chance U on netflix that t-shirts were hanging out as well...!! I think it annoys me because NFL uniforms (and college uniforms etc) generally look so good, and if a T-shirt hangs out from underneath the jersey it looks very.. It looks more like a practice or scrimmage...
There needs to be way harder penaties against not tucking the shirt in / having undershirts sticking out etc. Looks super sloppy! Rams just had a reciever score with his shirt hanging out.. linemen do it all the time! :les: :rumble:
Maybe an automatic deadball penalty of 5 yards if a players...
But what happens now when someone dives for a catch and drop it when they land? will all of those be catches too?
IMO, that creates a reverse problem, were it will be ruled a catch but looks and feels like a drop. I think a catch means catching the ball and hanging on to the ball in the next...
But think about us poor europeans!! And also consider for the players who play on the east coast, game ends 8pm ish, and then postgame stuff, and then change into tuxedo, tie the bowtie etc...
Or do you want them to wear PRE TIED bowties?!? OUTRAGEOUS :D
Where is Largent80 on this? He must...
