Too early to say if he's wrong or not. If he's right, then we'll be in a great position to land a qbotf next draft. If he's wrong, then we are winning. We can't lose either way, figuratively speaking.

I'll pass. We could easily win 8-10 games, or just as easily 4-6. No way of knowing yet. If we do win 4-6, at least we'd have a shot at a possible qbotf, although that would also put MM on a short-ish leash. Everything's a tradeoff. I suspect they'll give him at least 2-3 years regardless...
We may make the playoffs or not, and if we do, it's hard to imagine going far with Geno or Howell as qb. I see endless middle of the road purgatory and mid to late 1st round picks in the future unless they get a top 5 qb, by any means necessary. That said, if our D can hold on to a lead...
