    When Jaylen Smith got hurt last year, he went from a top 5 pick to a 2nd rounder. That make his initial contract change from a 4 year, 23.5 million deal to a 4 year, 6.5 million deal. That's 17 million lost. The El Paso Toilet bowl isn't worth 17 million to McCaffery.

    He's also a top 5 talent being payed the... 27th? highest at his position. It's one of the best deals in the league for the Seahawks. If all they have to put up with is occasional whining - not even a hold out - then it's an incredible deal for them.

    Not surprised on Pease, WR is the one area that really wasn't showing the kind of growth you'd hope for in a young team. Losing Choate hurts more on special teams, he was the coordinator there. Our DC works pretty closely with the DL. Will be interesting to to see how we go after as replacements.
