Pete says changes in the offense this week

Hopefully this means Odhiambo to the bench or inactive or PS or even better off the roster entirely. Damn that guy is bad.

    O-line improvement

All is not lost but I have a hard time being optimistic about the O-line after that last showing.

    Concerned about LB corps

Best MLB in the league, one of the best 4-3 WLB in the league, arguable upgrades at SLB and we are mostly going to play nickel with either Lane or McDougal on the field instead of a third LB. The only concern on defense is if Shaq holds up as a rookie corner and even if he doesn't we'll have...

Just going to toss this out there...

Pete won't be there in 10 years, maybe already in 5. What makes anyone think he won't be there next year though?

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Green Bay)

30 - 20 Hawks. GB doesn't look at its best yet, while the Hawks are already giving opposing teams nightmares. I have a feeling this game won't be easy but the Hawks gain a lead early and the Packers never really recover. RTD: 0-0

    DT Rotation

Bennett, Avril and Richardson will be every down starters. Clark will be there for the pass rushing downs, while Reed takes over against the run. The others will also get some snaps though as D line always rotates plenty.

    Start Chris Carson

We have 4 RBs who are potential number 1 guys. Lacy was at the Packers and could be at that level again. Rawls was #1 RB quality in 2015. Prosise is a brilliant dual threat when healthy. Carson just oozes potential. Why go all in on 1 guy when all of them could get snaps to keep all of them...

    Season Record Predictions

The only 2 games I really don't feel comfortable about are against the Texans and @Cards. @Packers feels like a toss up. Cards at home shouldn't be nearly as difficult as away. Cowboys could be tricky but I doubt it. We have the Giants number. Rams no longer have mr 7-9. Falcons have the SB...

Is the Richardson trade worth the price if only 1 season?

Next season we'll see if the Hawks can keep him and if not what we'll get in return. Over the course of the season we'll see if losing Kearse and a 2nd was worth it. But right now I'm just very excited about this season. The defense looks so extremely good right now. This version might even be...

NFL Power Ranking Going into Week 1

Everyone knew the Hawks were going to be contenders. Just not the sexy pick. Now that the offense is running well and the defense might very well be the best version yet, eyes are back on the Hawks.

    Roster cut announcements have begun

Kasen and Desir are definitely surprises at first but when looking at the roster there was no other way. Kasen was always going to be WR #6 and sometimes there is a spot for that and sometimes there isn't. This year we kept an extra RB (McKissic) who's only role will be filling in as returner...

    Qb poll

Boykin has flashes of brilliance but he's an off the field liability and is a little too talented at throwing INTs. Davis isn't suddenly going to engineer a deep play-off run if RW3 goes down but he's at least a serviceable back up.

    4-0 in preseason

Pre-season doesn't matter but its still a confidence boost to start 4-0. Lets hope the momentum carries over into week 1.

Hawks trying to trade WR Kearse

SInce 6 receivers is the most likely scenario this looks to be a move to be able to keep all 3 of Williams, McEvoy and Darboh. All 3 are similar to Kearse in the role they play. Williams and McEvoy have played too well to cut and Darboh looks to be a guy the FO (and so was I during the draft)...

Seahawks gauging trade market for Jeremy Lane, Alex Collins

Collins makes sense. Lacy, Rawls and Procise were always going to make the team and Carson secured the last RB spot with his exceptional play. Kearse can be explained as well quite well. We needed him because there wasn't another big receiver like him around. Baldwin, Lockett and P-Rich were...

Why Paul Richardson is the Seahawks’ breakout player in 2017

P-Rich is an outstanding receiver it's just that he gets hurt all the time. If he remains healthy for an entire season he'll do great things for us but I feel like we've been saying this for 3 years now and I'm starting to wonder if playing 16 games is just not possible for him.

    2017 Draft redux

McDowell got unlucky in the off season. Hope he returns soon so he can show what he can bring to the table. It's a good thing a first year lineman isn't starting this year. Pocic' strength is his versatility anyway, he's nsurance policy as he could take over at any of the 5 positions. Will be...

Marsh and McEvoy won't make the 53 (speculation)

Both are bubble guys. They either fill the final spot for their respective position or they just miss out. It's really just a case of if someone can beat them out. McEvoy will be in a race for the last 2 WR spots alongside guys like Kasen, Darboh and Kenny. Don't know how that will pan out...

    espn ranks nfl qbs

I see Russ as #6 obviously behind Brady, Brees and Rodgers and just behind Ryan and Roethlisberger. He's Tier 2 though so at least they got that right.

Preseason Power Rankings - Not What but Why

Power Rankings, especially at this point in the year, are shit. It's pretty much just how last season played out with some minor changes. If we believe these rankings then the Falcons lose to the Pats again in the Superbowl. How would they qualify? Beating the Packers in the NFCCG and the...
