    The massively underappreciated Brian Schottenheimer

Okay so the gist of the first paragraph is that it is generally accepted that Pete has a holistic (all encompassing) vision of how the defense should operate and how the offense should and the integral interplay between the two. Play risk adverse offense which is supported by a smothering...

    The massively underappreciated Brian Schottenheimer

When a holistic ideal isn't met, I really hope that there's more to offer than 'well the holistic ideal wasn't met'. I agree wholly, yes, the defense especially needed to tighten up to maintain a lead - but that's predicating a holistic mode of operation on something that can rapidly change...

Rob Gronkowski Shows Off Significant Weight Loss Since Retir

I went through this. I decided in my mid 20s I wanted to be strong. Like strong as a ox for a 5'9" dude. So I ate and ate and lifted and lifted and got to be 215 lbs myself and able to deadlift and squat at least twice that. Then I decided, "im a bit thick" and scaled way back. Now Im 145 lbs...

    The massively underappreciated Brian Schottenheimer

The thing that strikes me though is that maybe, perhaps, he picked up some very conservative best practices based on the QB talent he had in the stable. Is RW as bereft of talent as these other quarterbacks? Certianly not, but some of the telltale signs of Schotty's overall ethos are already here.

Seahawks Social Media and Fan Sites Crap Out Diamonds

Probably not a robust Twitter presence which is where the entire thing was derived from and dispersed. I don't see any blue check Doug Farrars in my search. Edit: HE BLOCKED ME!

Seahawks Social Media and Fan Sites Crap Out Diamonds

https://twitter.com/danmorse_/status/1143247542508904448 While we may not be fully aboard the analytics wagon, there are a few names there that have done good work with analysis of both tape and data and have found employment in pursuing those very subjects with larger sites or teams...

    The massively underappreciated Brian Schottenheimer

The good news is, Schotty has tons of room for improvement going forward. Better YAC, better 3rd down %, etc etc. If you don't think little things like that make a difference to the overall performance of the offense then there's no point in conversation about it. Deny that there is room for...

Should we be concerned with defense?

Oh yeah, its a great goal and it isnt an easy one to achieve but thats exactly what the team needs in my perspective to deliver the previous highs. This might require a few generational talents on tap to do so and to me the fresh crop of players 3 years or fewer doesnt have that. Thats fine...

Should we be concerned with defense?

I'm sorry that I need something, like meaningful games played to go on to form opinions. Must be nice not to need that.

Should we be concerned with defense?

This side steps the real differences and aptitude between the set of players that yielded our best defenses (and one of the best ever) and the current one. Yeah, there's potential there and that's good. But the potential will be realized in season and I am not at the point where I think "Top 5...

Should we be concerned with defense?

From a talent perspective, yes. From a coaching perspective. No.

    NBA Playoffs Thread

How do you have depth when carrying a top 5 and top 25 player in addition to all the other players? I can't imagine a scenario where the Warriors roster could have depth to make a difference without Klay or Durant. Like the drop off from either to 'next best' on the roster would likely be...

‘The Sea Gals’ are now ‘The Seahawks Dancers’

Haha, if it was in the service of learning to dance in new and modern ways, it couldnt possibly be a mistake. On the other hand if it was in the service of trying to be Channing Tatum, physically...thats done in the gym and kitchen. And takes a mole rat parent. ;)
