Who is Austin Bui?
He's the Seahawks head equipment manager. He's had the position now for four years.

Time and time again when playing on grass playing surfaces, the Seahawks have issues with keeping their footing. The reason? The equipment manager has brought the wrong cleats.

The sideline reporter today towards the end of the 3rd quarter mentioned that several players were changing their cleat sizes. It's not a coincidence that the team was able to put some points on the board shortly after.

Austin Bui, Derin Lazuta and Trevor Neal (assistant equipment managers) need to have these players in the right size cleats from the beginning of the game. Enough is enough.

Everyone is held accountable. Including those behind the scenes

That field was pure garbarge
Similar to when the NFL first started the London games, those fields aren't intended for 300 pound dudes in cleats for 3 hours.

However, besides Brady slipping on the field, the Bucs had more success with finding solid footing than our guys. Their equipment manager was better prepared than Austin Bui and staff were

The players decide what cleats they want to wear.

Definitely would make sense considering that is the first time the NFL has held a game in Germany, I really don't care for the international games-everyone's clock is thrown off and shitty fields that just have a tendency to create more injuries, I was getting flashbacks to Fedex in the 2012 WC game against the Redskins.

Back to the old "not used to playing on grass" thing.
