Transition tag costs almost as much as the franchise tag. Tate won't get one.

I could see them using it on Bennett as a tactic to scare away a few suitors, but only if they are okay with another potential Hutch scenario. Personally, I am 100% fine with having Seattle franchise Bennett.

Franchising him would cost more then $10 mil. Completely not worth it. If your gonna spend the ten on him, then lock him up. Otherwise, don't. Franchise not worth it for a defensive end.
