I have a Tatupu 51 jersey. I didn't know anyone else still carried the love for Lofa. Except maybe, the poster who goes by Loaf of Tatupu or something like that.
Rookie Tatupu, I always thought, was why the Hawks made it to the Owl after the 2005 season. Unstoppable offense, Shaun, Matt, Walt, Hutch, DJack, Jurevicius, etc., plus schitt defense = .500 team. Add Lofa and schitt D becomes average+ D.

Unstoppable offense + average defense = Superb Owl = 2005 Seahawks season.

Wore my Lofa jersey yesterday. You are definitely right that Lofa was the difference. However, I will bring up Marcus Tubbs (also have his jersey) getting paired with free agent Chuck Darby played a major role in our defense that year. Everyone points to losing Hutchitraitor to why we didn't make it far in '06, but losing Tubbs for the year had more of a negative impact.
