Brandon Browner gets 8 years in prison...

Isn't that pretty close to the sentence length Rae Carruth got? And his hit was successful plus left a child with serious issues. I don't say that to say Browner's is too long but to say Carruth's was way, way too short.

I never thought I'd see this happen to him

I never thought I'd see this specific thing, but am I the only guy who saw him in interviews and thought his head wasn't screwed on right? At a minimum he's incredibly derpy.

browner seemed kind of 'high strung' or 'easy to trigger', but even so, i never thought it would get to this.

back in the day, he almost single-handedly changed the face of the seahawks defense. then he won a championship with the patriots, and there are probably only a few players with rings from two different teams.

it's sad to see he has gone to this.
