Broncos Trade for Jacob Martin

Looks like they gave up a 4th round pick and got Martin and a 5th rounder. Pretty good deal IMO. I haven't followed Martin much since he left us and went to the Texans, but I seem to remember that I felt like he had some real talent that I wouldn't have minded keeping around at the time. For this price, I would have happily taken him back here.

He showed flashes but hasn't really done much imo.

Averages about 3 Sacks a year. He was a good player that I think we drafted in the 6th round.

I always have a little bit of the "what if" philosophy with young players that we let go (although this time it was a trade for Clowney). I just remember he seemed to be making strides here when we traded him. Just makes me wonder if he'd have continued his improvement if we hadn't sent him to Houston.
