Anyone know how Mone is coming along and estimates as to when he will be healthy enough to either play or wave? I really hated the contract that we gave him last year, but it is what it is at this point.
Last report was on June 9th and it said that he still had a long way to go. I think him being back by mid season would be a win. For big guy like him, they often end up dropping weight to help relive stress on the knee, which for his position, isnt desirable. So he has to get his knee right - which in June, he was yet to even start running. then get into football shape... and add mass back onto his frame.
His rehab was slowed considerably due to complications during his surgery.
Unfortunate.
But, if the guys we have can hold things down until he comes back, adding Mone for a post season push would be pretty sweet.
