I've actually never seen a real fight at the Clink, idiots squaring off, but no blows. Drunks going over board, usually security is called and they get escorted out.

The swearing bothers me sometimes when I have my kid, but other than that, not too bad.

Honestly the worst thing I saw was back on '05, two drunks were sitting a row below us and to the side, 2 young women were sitting right beside my wife and I, behind the two drunks. All 4 of them obviously had been pre-funking A LOT. At first we thought they all knew each other. But as the game went on the two guys started getting really 'handsy' turning around and groping them, it was freaking bizarre. The girls were playing it off well, several times I would say knock it off, push their hands away, tell them to chill. Finally a guy behind them asked if they wanted security, they said yes. An usher waited several rows up and watched, sure enough they did it again and bam, 2 minutes later about 4 sheriffs were there and tossed the guys. Frackin' idiots.

Last preseason it popped off in one of the upper sections, I saw it from area. I don't know why anyone would wanna fight that high up with how steep those steps are.

Well it's not a secret that 49ers fans are scumbags. Personally, I've never seen anything inappropriate occur at C-Link beyond a few curse words and your average, sporting-event typical drunkenness.

One guy I met who was a Cowboys fan said that someone poured a beer on his wife -- but I don't trust him at all, and seriously doubt that was the whole story.

49er fans are no better or worse than Hawk fans or any other fans, we all have our assholes. You put together two opposing teams, add alcohol......bingo, instant assholes.

If you have never seen anything inapproriate occur at "The Clink" maybe you should try Youtube or better yet wear the opposing teams jersey to the game. I think you will be shocked at some of the things you hear, and that how it is in every stadium, people are getting out of hand.

Personally I love the trash talking, it's what makes the game so much fun, but there is a limit. No one should have to worry about taking their young children or spouses to a game. I think if we all try to check ourselves and our own fans the whole experience will be more enjoyable for all.

And forgive me for saying so, but it's just a game, not worth loosing teeth over, or spending the night in jail for.

A search on youtube turns up three seahawks fight videos -- only one of them is at C-Link and that, big surprise, involves a 49ers fan. If you search for 49ers fans fights TONS of videos come up, followed in quantity only by Raiders and Ravens fans.

Not saying that all Seahawks fans are angels, by any means. But certain fan bases are just KNOWN to be more belligerent, aggressive, and likely to get physical than others. 49ers are one of them.

Hawk fans vs Cowboy fans at the Clink (off duty cops) -- This is a legit fight. But in a parking lot, and NOT in C-Link itself.
Hawk fans vs Giant fans at the Clink - NOT a fight. Just a Giants fan drunkenly yelling and then being escorted out by security.
Hawk fans vs 49er fans at the Clink - The video I mentioned earlier, involving a 49ers fan. Obnoxious 49ers fan gets his sign stolen, pushing ensues, 49ers fan escalates things by starting to swing wildly at Seahawks fan.
Hawk fans vs AZ fans at the Clink - a 2 second fight between two WOMEN. One of them slaps the other in the shoulder and then quickly walks away. Not really what I would call a fight.
Hawk fans vs 17 year old Packers fan at the Clink - This is called "Seahawk fan pounces young packers fan" and is, in fact, a video of an older female Seahawk fan giving a lap dance to a youngish guy, who looks both amused and alarmed.
Hawk fans vs Eagles fans, again at the Clink. - This one actually does seem like it qualifies as a "fight" - but is still just one punch thrown (by the Eagles fan, I think) and then quickly broken up.

Again, I'm not claiming that Seahawks fans are angels. But I don't know how you could seriously believe that 49ers fans or, say, Raiders fans DO NOT have a reputation for being excessively belligerent. More so than other teams. I've seen several. Most were from drunken moron bandwagon Seahawks fans that had never seen a game before 2005 and believe that coming with the identity of the 12th man comes the impression that we gotta be obnoxious. Lots of groups of guys get as liquored up as they can to be as loud and rowdy as possible. At least when we were bad, our fans understood football. I used to love going to Seahawks games. I can barely stomach it now and don't go more than once a year. I've gone into detail about what I saw at an opener against TB when Hawk fans blocked TB fans from getting medical attention when one was unresponsive. The worst I ever saw though was at the Rams playoff game when Bobby Engram dropped the ball. I was sitting next to a couple wearing Rams jackets. They were 60-ish. They were very polite, took some friendly ribbing at the hands of my group. They stood and clapped when the Rams did something good, but weren't verbal at all. After Engram dropped the ball, the guy stood up and raised his hands in the air and said "yessssss!!! And the guy behind him broke a beer bottle over his head and kicked him before we were able to tackle him. As I said, I've been to a lot of stadiums, and have never seen anything quite like that. Made me embarrassed to be a Seahawks fan, and I haven't held the 12th man in the same light since. Every time I go back now, I keep an eye open for stupid crap like this, and I have since noticed that it is everywhere. The 12th man is out of control. And they aren't football fans. And it is really sad.

Lol, I'm the guy who is complaining in that video to the usher and the cops - seriously, that Giants fan was a Giant douche - he was popping off the entire game (and this is the game in 2010 with Charlie Whitehurst where they beat us 41-7) and that fight slowly escalated over about 10 mins - If the usher had done his job there would have been no punch even thrown. Things can occasionally get a little out of hand in the Hawk's Nest - but this one was all on the opposing fan actually LOOKING for a fight.

They are, that's why a new stadium is being built in Santa Clara. It's no secret that Candlestick has gone to shit over the years, the neighborhood is terrible, even home fans are not safe, also because of the proximity to Oakland and the cheap ticket prices we get alot of actual Raider fans coming to the Stick dressed as 9er fans with the sole purpose of starting fights and causing problems in general . And I agree that some stadiums are worse than others, but we all need to start checking our own fans and stop making excuses like "well your stadium is worse". The problem is a growiing problem throughout the league including at the Clink which why there have been so many talks about banning alcohol sales at the games, also to include the Clink. I could be wrong but I dont think they would be talking about banning alcohol and loosing all the revenue from the sales of alcohol unless they felt the problem is a serious one.

Again not trying say we dont have our share of Jerk-off, D'bag fans cause we do, but no more than anyone else. Hope to see some of you at the game, would love to have a beer or two with any of you and talk some smack.

The talk of banning alcohol is just that talk. I did a study several years ago right after Seahawks Stadium opened.(I will never call it clink or anything to do with what was US Worst phone company).

Teams make more than a million dollars a game on concessions which includes alcohol sales so they are never going to stop. At that time the figure for Seahawks Stadium was about $1,350,000 a game. You can spend a lot on better security and not spend much of those moneys.

Its probably getting close to $2 million a year now a days. Would you give that up?

That talk all started at a New York Giants game a few years ago when 2 drunken fans fighting after a game ran into a little girl knocked her down accidently. she was paralyzed for life by the hit. But it died down after a while.

They will work on security and we fans can be a big part of that but it will never stop. And stopping alcohol sales won't stop fan stupidity either.
