Seahawks Should Kick Tires on Jabaal Sheard

Corbin Smith

Somehow, Seattle has to bolster its pass rush with a quality veteran, but they lack the draft capital to swing a trade for a player like Washington's Ryan Kerrigan or Cincinnati's Carlos Dunlap.

Instead of further mortgaging the future by dealing away draft picks, the Seahawks should be wasting no time getting former Patriots and Colts standout Jabaal Sheard to the VMAC.

Pretty sharp eye.
But, assuming his knee is good to go, don't you think Kendricks is the best choice available?
I think the question is which one is better at rushing the passer?

Two different types of players. Sheard was at first olb in 34. He got moved to de in patriots scheme. Kendricks is a totally different player. Kendricks started out in this league playing MLB than moved to ROLB. Played more of the Irvin role for us last year. I don't think they compare. Not to confident in sheard playing coverage.
