So lets read what Pete has to say on the subject ...............

"He's still in recovery mode," Carroll said. "He's been in recovery mode for months. But he just continues to do everything he can possibly do to try to get right and get back, and we've just seen that the rigors of the season, it has just been taxing and all. Every day is a day that we have to reevaluate and see if we can get him to the next day and all. He couldn't do more than he's done, he's been ferocious about the attack on this, and then there are times when we need to quiet him and try to get him active and try to get him right and all that. So we're still in that mode right now. I just talked to him a little bit ago, and today is not the day to go, he's not ready for this day. We're just one day at a time. I admire everything about how he's dealt with this and handled it. It's a difficult injury, it's different than knee surgery. It's a different case for him, so it's just taken a really long time, and it's been really frustrating for him. But he's battling, he's doing everything he can to compete to get right."
Asked about the possibility of Adams being shut down for the rest of the season to let his knee get healthy, Carroll said, "It's been something that we have acknowledged, that's a decision, but so far he's wanted to keep going and driving and see what he can make of it. I just support everything where he's coming from, in every way. So we'll take it one shot at a time, and we'll figure it out together."
