No doubt Doug is one of the keys that make the Hawk passing game go. His ailment and absence have hurt. He not only gets open when others can't, Russ trusts him more than any other receiver. I'd be surprised if he doesn't go. The team needs him.

We should be able to win without him. Rest him, then feed the man all day against the Rams, and maybe we can beat THEM...

Totally disagree. The Cardinals game should be Doug's warmup game, and that's probably why he'll be out there. Wouldn't be shocked if he was actually healthy enough for the Week 3 game but, we wanted him warmed up for the big home game against the Rams

Doug needs a "warm up" game for the Rams to build confidence. The Rams game might well be a "knock down drag out" affair. If we can beat the Rams.....we regain the respect of the League.

That's why I posted above that Doug will probably play, but be a bit limited. We'll definitely need him for the Lambs.
