Imagine watching your team get manhandled at home?

watching them not be able to tackle?

watching them getting bullied?

watching them get beat by yet another backup QB while the stands are filled with yellow towels?

The dude is delusional. Same shit week after week after week.

No accountability.

The challenge was incredibly stupid.

What…in…the…hell?

It accomplished nothing and took a chance to stop the clock away.

Someone, please make sense of this??

It’s mind-boggling.

So what are we thinking? Pete returning in 2024 for another 9-8 season?

I think it was a shrewd decision, and I think it worked.

We're getting an extended timeout in a high-leverage moment. The challenge wasn't to challenge, it was to regroup before the stand that determines how much of a shot we have. Stopping the clock a single time is an incredibly infinitesimal consideration when compared to the gravity of this GL stand attempt.

It successfully assisted us in arresting Pittsburgh's momentum. We would've had far less time to regroup the defense, and that situation was a way more important moment that a single clock-stop will be later.

We did stop the TD.

Perhaps you’re right.
