First things first.. lets have a little trivia question.. answer will be below.
Quarterback A - 3538 yards, 29 TD, 7 INT
Quarterback B - 3379 yards, 29 TD, 6 INT
Who is who? Stay tuned!
1. Russell Wilson is no longer the leader in sacks.
Alex Smith and Blake Bortles have overtaken him.
Remember when he was on pace to finish with 70+ sacks and/or in a Seattle hospital? Not anymore!
2. Russell Wilson is second in completion percentage
He now sits at 68.8% .. trailing only.... *potential playoff subplot here*
Kirk Cousins - who has completed 69.7 percent of his passes.
3. Russell Wilson now needs only 462 yards for 4000
Would need to average 231 over his next two to hit 4K. Could be a challenge if Week 17 is a meaningless game. Still very cool to see!
4. Russell Wilson needs 4 touchdown passes to set the team record
He sits at 29. Dave Krieg (1984) holds the record with 32.
5. Russell Wilson's yards per attempt is off the charts good..
You would think a guy thats completed nearly 70% of his throws isn't throwing it deep right?
Not so fast my friend!
Wilson has the second highest YPA in the NFL, coming in at an impressive 8.5 yards per attempt. Carson Palmer leads the league with 8.8 yards per attempt.
6. Trivia Answer
A. Russell Wilson
B. Aaron Rodgers
