Reading what the Viking fans are saying, they have no faith in their team.

They should have more. They've got way more talent on offense than the 49ers did, and the 49ers had more than they're being given credit for.

Vikings seem dissatisfied with the inconsistency of Kirk Cousins and the poor play calling. Their OC John DeFilippo has shown Bevell-esque tendencies in abandoning the run game.

Haha. Not sure if K.J. will ever be fully healthy this year, which is terrible for him in a contract year. It would be a good “problem” to have if both were available. Perhaps K.J. could play some SLB in that scenario with Kendricks at WLB and Mingo at DE.

Ya, I knew we were close in scoring. Point is....yes, erasing things can change the picture, but anyone can say that and we don't get to. We own what we put in the books.

How about this then...

We've been lacking a consistent pass rush. In 3 games Kendricks had 2 sacks. Given Minnesota's weak OL and Cousins not being all that accurate under pressure, toss in a full measure of an east-coast-ish (normal start 10 am anyway) team travelling west to play in prime time, and it could be a good night for our CBs to shine.

Edit: Oh yeah and they also just discovered how good my adopt-a-rookie Poona Ford can be if only given a chance.
