Lol at saying Jennings "demands" double teams. Dude hasn't demanded a double team his entire career.
Maybe he meant Jennings is very impolite in the way he verbally asks to be double teamed? Maybe this isn't even a foot ball thing, but part of Jennings kinky lifestyle? I dunno.

When he was a packer with both favre & Rodgers...he had to have double coverage on him because his routes and catch ability was off the charts !

Your just looking at him since getting hurt or with Cassel,ponder,etc... But you seen what he could do with teddy !

Watch film on him and listen to defenses that had to play him & what they said.

As a matter of fact for a 6'0 WR he had great stats. Here compare him to a star 6'3 WR like jordy nelson

Now do you see much difference even though nelson has 3 inches on him ???

Wish and hope and pray all you want for Jennings to be a Seahawk...it's not gonna happen. The Seahawks have gone down the road of signing past their prime FORMER great WRs. It hasn't worked, and this wouldn't either.

If the Seahawks sign Jennings, which WR are you going to cut? Then, once you've cut that one, which one or two more are you going to cut after drafting another WR or two? Lockette? One of the best special teams gunners in the league? I don't think so. Kearse? Nope. Baldwin? I doubt it. Norwood? Probably not. Richardson? Highly doubtful. Matthews? After finally showing what he can do in a game? You'd be stupid to think they would cut him.

Jennings offers ZERO on special teams and would cost more than Richardson and Matthews combined. The Seahawks will get more from Richardson and Matthews even with Richardson not playing this season than Jennings would offer.

Well, we haven't signed our annual ex-Viking FA yet..

The other side to FA's is "do they want to play for a certain team?" In this case, with the run-heavy offense and the recent Graham acquisition, would he be willing to take a lesser role? Not sure many WR's will voluntarily sign here in SEA with this offense in place. Ironically, as an athlete you would think the winning culture would be the main reason why someone would be attracted to a team. The Patriots recently seemed to have lost out on Bush because of their commitment to RB by committee. One would think both teams would be beating down the FA's. This is why their is a slary cap though to keep the elite teams from remaining elite.

He has never demanded a double team. He never will demand a double team.

Comparing Jordy to Jennings is equally laughable, like most of your musings, because the Packers gave Jordy the money Jennings was looking for.

Hell even as a free agent, Jennings is having a hard time finding two people to want him.

Not that Jennings is that guy anymore, but during his peak he had Steve Largent type numbers. There was once a time when he was an elite WR, even if he was a system guy.

I think he walks onto the field as our best receiver if we sign him today. That dude had some juice just a couple of years ago.

jennings is still a starting caliber receiver. however, we need a home run hitter on the outside that can stretch the field and he isnt that. should focus our resources elsewhere.

To bad he's such a huge pussy

uh, wtf are u talking about? ... browner is as physical a CB as there is in the league, with long arms, about 5-6" taller and 30+ lbs heavier than jennings, and jennings GOES AFTER browner immediately after browner cheap shotted him. that hardly classifies jennings as being
such a huge pussy

im not sure if anybody would expect somebody that much smaller to physically dominate browner... lmao. now if u want to say jennings lacks prototypical size for a WR, that would be a far more reasonable... and far less ignorant statement.

LOL..Jennings all heart right there!! In all seriousness I would take a chance on him if the price is right...the longer he stays a FA the better the price!

hearing it's a 2-year deal.

Bad news if you wanted Jennings. Good news if you wanted a WR on the first or second day next week as Miami may be less likely to prioritize that position.
