Heaps: Seahawks had 3 big missed opportunities on offense

Jake Heaps of 710 ESPN Seattle’s Tom, Jake and Stacy highlights three plays where the Seahawks’ offense could have gained some momentum.

The first play was a fourth-and-one play in the first quarter where wide receiver Malik Turner dropped a pass. Heaps shows that the play call was a good one and quarterback Russell Wilson threw a good ball, but Turner turned his head upfield before securing the ball.

Wyman: Breaking down Seahawks’ defensive struggles with the Rams

The Seahawks defense struggled against the Los Angeles Rams, mostly in the first half, to stop many of their passing plays. The result was the Seahawks fell behind 21-3 at halftime and lost 28-12.

Two players in particular, tight end Tyler Higbee and receiver Robert Woods, constantly beat Seattle’s coverage for big gains. Higbee finished with 116 yards and Woods had 98 yards and caught a touchdown.
