We did lose to the Rams the week after the Fail Mary so..................................IDK.

But whatever, karma won't lose us the game against the Bengals, crappy play from the o-line and lackluster play from the offense in general will.

The only thing tainted was the amazing play by Kam. If not for some arbitrary rule that had no competitive advantage in that situation, everyone is talking about Paying Kam today. The media hype machine goes crazy over that. Honestly, sports media has been DYING for something as stupid as this to happen, just so they have something to talk about. Its hard to fill a whole week with sports related info when no one is playing. Its why every single show talked about it all day. Its all they had.

how was the win tainted? that call has never been made in any game, ever.
R U kidding? -- every official on the field missed an obscure but existing rule that should have put the ball on the one-half yard line and given Detroit the win.

So that was an automatic TD for the Lions and we also lost getting the ball on offense if they did score? The cart goes behind the horse son.

It wouldn't have been for the win, just the go ahead score ,and still time for the Seahawks to drive down and put the game away.
AND, if you're so sure that the Seahawks would have been unable to do it, you're a "Downer Dreamer"
Just accept that the right team won, because it's true. 8)

Every official on the field declined to make a subjective call based on an obscure rule when no opposing players were even close to the ball. Similar, one might add, to a subjective non-call on pass interference when no opposing players are even close to the ball. The fumble was "non-recoverable" just as a ball is "non-catchable" when pass interference isn't called.

But yes, Detroit should have been "given" the win. Tell me, are there many Lions fans up there in Vancouver?

If I believed in karma, I wouldn't care because I'd be an ignorant idiot.

You create your own "luck"
Kam made an incredible play, and even if he didn't, they still had a minute and 40 seconds and 2 timeouts.
KJ did what anyone else would have done. Excuses are for losers, Hawks were clearly in control of that game before that stupid 3rd down pass call. No reason to not just run the ball and punt, and make then EARN their 7.

No matter how hard I try, I could never feel bad about a win. Especially when they were gifted the chance to even get back in it. NOBODY even knew that stupid rule.

...Does a tainted win bring bad karma?

Are you talking about how Pittsburgh has never again gone to the Super Bowl, let alone won it since SBXL*? Because if so, the answer is YES!

You sure about that?

If you're gonna bring karma into it, you could also argue that good karma from before allowed for us to achieve this win...

So because Wright did something that didn't impact the play in any way but somehow turns out to be illegal according to an ancient rule, Kam's incredible play should have been thrown out the window and we should have lost?

This win was not tainted and the rule was BS, glad the refs didn't suddenly call a penalty on something nobody was aware of.
