I think the offensive players are excited about getting some fresh ideas, schemes and playcalling into the offense.

Don't forget Richard is gone too, so it's not just the offensive players that have to adjust to new coaches. Wagner did say last night that he was having fun working with Norton again, because Norton brings a special kind of energy and intensity to the practices and film room.

I think you're giving Bevell too much credit, he is without a job for a very good reason at the moment.

He's without a job because organizations know that announcing the hiring of the man behind The Call isn't going to put butts in seats. Think what you like, but the stigma of the one play is undoubtedly a factor, fair or not.
