Pete already said it's not where he wants it to be. The author of the article included that, then wrote a piece that showed the obvious. Not really sure what they were going for here.

You can't average 3YPC and want more run.
Yes you can. The Titans were able to beat us averaging about that. They kept pounding it and pounding it, even when they were behind, and our defense missed a tackle here, a tackle there, likely because of fatigue, and the Titans broke a couple of runs that gave them a close win.

You don't need to average 4 ypc to keep running the ball. That's poor decision making because the opposing defense just "pins their ears back," and your QB gets beat up, throws INTs, and you lose BIG.

Did we sign Derrick Henry?

Seahawks ran it 25 times, threw it 47 times. It's a bit inflated on the passing because of the last few necessary drives, but it's not like we didn't run at all. I thought throughout the game we had a decent mix of pass/run. What we didn't have a decent mix of is short yardage throws, KW running to the outside, and then pounding it in the middle with Charbs.

What we can't do is run power over and over with Walker. We're not going to fatigue anyone but our defense after punting it. Derrick Henry is the kind of guy you "fatigue" a defense with with 3 ypc, not have Kenneth "Fred Astaire" Walker dancing behind the line for 30 seconds before gaining 2 yards.
