Is the "Jump Ball" an effective offensive weapon?

We do not throw "jump balls" as a regular part of our offense. It's similar to people saying why don't defensive backs intercept Wilson's passes more. They practice these passes, and Wilson adds a lot of arc to his throw, dropping it in the bucket more often than not
